How it Works
- Your car retains the original CIC system, Mr12Volt is accessed through the CD changer menu. Switch between the two by pressing the CD/Media button on the CIC controller.
- If a CD changer is fitted, it must be disabled, a bypass loop connector is included in the package for this.

Most BMW CarPlay retrofits on the market, including other CIC interfaces, connect through your car's AUX input or Bluetooth audio. That works, but it's a downgrade path: analogue signal, a noticeable drop in sound quality, and sometimes a slight lag between what's on screen and what you hear.
