The BMW Z4 E89 was produced from 2009 to 2016 and Mr12Volt lists CIC and CIC MID systems fitted to this generation as compatible with its BMW CIC CarPlay interface.
Unlike some BMW models where the iDrive system changed several times during production, finding the correct CarPlay kit for the Z4 E89 is relatively straightforward.
The compatible BMW Z4 E89 CIC system normally has either a 6.5" or 8.8" factory display with the BMW iDrive controller positioned on the centre console.
Both CIC screen sizes use the same Mr12Volt interface.
If your Z4 has no iDrive display and instead has a standard BMW radio/CD head unit, do not order the CIC kit without checking compatibility with us first.
