Why choose Mr12Volt

Many low-cost BMW CarPlay adapters connect through the AUX input, which means compromised sound quality
and reduced functionality. Every genuine Mr12Volt interface integrates directly with your BMW's MOST fibre optic network instead, preserving digital audio quality, steering wheel controls and iDrive operation exactly as BMW intended.

FAQ

Yes, if your car has CCC (before 2009), CIC (2009 to 2012), NBT (2012 to 2016) or NBT EVO (2016 to 2019). We don't currently have a kit for F30/F31/F34 cars built between late 2011 and 2012, or for the newest G20/G21 models from 2019 onwards, get in touch and we'll let you know as soon as that changes.

Check the Find Your Kit section
above, it covers the screen size and controller layout for each system. If
you're still unsure, send us your registration and we'll confirm it.

Yes. The E9x M3 (E90 saloon, E92
coupe, E93 convertible) uses the same CCC and CIC systems as the standard E90
to E93 range, so it's covered by those kits. The F80 M3 uses NBT from launch in
March 2014 to around mid-2015, then NBT EVO from around mid-2015 to the end of
production in 2018, both covered above.

Yes. Apple CarPlay has been
standard from the factory since the G20/G21 launched in 2019, running on BMW's
newer iDrive 7 (OS7) system. You don't need a kit from us, it's already built
in.

No. Every Mr12Volt kit integrates directly with your BMW's own MOST fibre optic network, so steering wheel controls, factory speakers and sound processing all continue to work exactly as before.

Yes, every kit supports both, wirelessly.

Most customers fit their kit in
one to two hours using basic trim tools. If you'd rather have it professionally
installed, we can recommend an approved installer near you.

Send us your registration or VIN
and we'll confirm the correct kit before you order, no guesswork. Contact us.
