Add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Land Rover while keeping the factory touchscreen, steering wheel controls, factory microphone and your own sound system, base or Meridian. CarPlay Direct is the official UK authorised Mr12Volt reseller. This page covers the Discovery 4 and Freelander 2, genuine MOST fibre optic interfaces built for that exact system rather than generic boxes that half work.

Mr12Volt P3000 - L319
Kit for Land Rover (2009 to 2011)
The Mr12Volt P3000-L320 connects directly to your Discovery's MOST fibre optic network, the same digital audio path Land Rover itself uses, so sound quality, steering wheel controls and touchscreen operation carry on working as intended. Once fitted, CarPlay and Android Auto appear under Audio Video, Portable Audio, USB in your factory media menu.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, plus a wired option if you prefer a cable
Keeps your factory touchscreen, steering wheel controls and factory microphone
Genuine MOST fibre optic integration, not an AUX or Bluetooth dongle
Works with the base and Harman Kardon Logic 7 sound systems, factory amplifier retained
Screen mirroring, Bluetooth audio streaming and a 15 band DSP equaliser
Supports aftermarket reversing, front and blind spot cameras up to AHD 1080P
Official UK stock, full manufacturer warranty
Your car needs a USB option in the factory media menu, because the kit connects in place of the factory USB module, which is disabled during installation using the optical bypass connector supplied in the box. And the next and previous track buttons on the steering wheel are not supported on this kit, an OEM control limitation rather than a fault. Everything else on the wheel, including volume and phone controls, carries on working.
Mr12Volt P3000 - JL12
kit for Land Rover (2012 - 2015)
Cars with the Bosch system take the Mr12Volt P3000-JL12, built specifically for it. Same genuine MOST fibre optic integration, same factory screen and controls, CarPlay and Android Auto run from the TV menu.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, plus a wired option if you prefer a cable
Keeps your factory touchscreen, steering wheel controls and factory microphone
Genuine MOST fibre optic integration, not an AUX or Bluetooth dongle
Works with the base and Meridian sound systems, factory amplifier retained
Screen mirroring, Bluetooth audio streaming and a built in DSP
Supports aftermarket reversing, front and blind spot cameras up to AHD 1080P
No coding required, the TV menu is activated automatically even if your car has no factory TV module
Official UK stock, full manufacturer warranty
If your car does have a factory TV module, it is bypassed at the module itself using the optical loop connector supplied in the box.
Why choose Mr12Volt
Many low cost Land Rover CarPlay adapters connect through the AUX input, which means compromised sound quality and less functionality than your factory system already gives you. Every genuine Mr12Volt interface integrates directly with your car's MOST fibre optic network instead, preserving digital audio quality, steering wheel controls and touchscreen operation exactly as Land Rover intended.
